Oak Park Pastures is partnering with RJ Stables/Royal Riders & Ropers Saddle Club to bring to you a fun, family friendly, Obstacle Course Series this summer! Details below! (8am)

RULES AND INFORMATION:
1. 4 events at two locations. Points from each event will be totaled (if tie, we will go off total time). Awards to series winners in each age group.
2. Open practice/warm-up/registration 8 am to 10:00 am.
3. 10:00 am instruction with walk through explaining rules and penalties. 10:15 am drag. 10:30 am START.
4. There will be 10 obstacles for all classes/ages including Jackpot.
5. Classes/age groups are as follows: 15 & under, 16 - 44, 45+ and Open Jackpot.
6. 1st through 6th place ribbons for class/age groups.
7. Open Jackpot is for any age. 80% payout. Placings will be based on the number of participants. Payout via Venmo, check or cash. Results will also be posted on FB.
8. Horse cannot run multiple times in a class/age group.
9. Horse and rider can enter a class/age group and/or the Open Jackpot. This must be decided at the time of registration.
10. No crops or training aids.
11. Western or English tack and riding apparel.
12. Each run will be timed.
13. You must make 2 valiant attempts at each obstacle then please move on.
14. 0 points if horse refuses obstacle. 1 point if horse attempts obstacle. 2 points if horse completes obstacle.
15. Please enter the arena and wait for the announcer to give you the “go ahead”.
