Pat Mayse Lake; East Campgrounds
CR 35800, Powderly, Texas
Admin: Misty Kennedy
Pat Mayse Lake is a very beginner friendly area to ride. The East Campgrounds are the equestrian friends campgrounds and there are pens at each site. Be aware: The sites are a direct 90 degrees off the loop road around the campgrounds. Bigger rigs will have trouble backing in to the sites, and it may be impossible for anything over a 4 horse trailer with moderate sized LQ. Campground is on the lake - water is on three sides of the camp area, so the view is lovely from any direction. Camp grounds are kept immaculate. Lake is a Corps of Engineers lake.
TRAIL HEAD
Across the road from the campgrounds.
