Sardis Lake; Potato Hills Central Campgrounds
Clayton, Oklahoma
Admin: Misty Kennedy
Sardis Lake is a Corps of Engineers lake. Trails are of varying difficulty, but nothing in the advanced levels. I'd say some intermediate areas on some of the lesser used trails, but nothing hairy or scary. Campground is immaculate, pens are new and well maintained. Generous space between sites so you aren't right on top of your neighbor. All sites are back-in, but even this novice trailer-backer was able to get backed in without any issues. Bathrooms and shower house are well maintained and centrally located on the equestrian loop. Sites D90-D4 have double pens. High-ti is welcome at all sites provided you use a tree saver. BBQs, fire rings, and tables at each site. All very well maintained.
